A Yonkers teenager pleaded guilty this week in the fatal shooting of another teen.
Jamir Thompson pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, according to the Westchester district attorney.
Police say Thompson was 15 when he shot at another male in 2019. The bullet instead hit 18-year-old Marilyn Cotto-Montanez in the head as she walked to a store with her little sister on the corner of Morningside Avenue and Lake Avenue.
Thompson was prosecuted as a juvenile and is scheduled to be sentenced in September.
