Two former Hudson Valley corrections workers have been charged in connection to a 2020 assault of an inmate at Green Haven in Dutchess County.
Ex-corrections officer Taj Everly, of Cortlandt Manor, is accused of assaulting inmate Damian Williams in May.
His supervisor, Rosita Rossy, a former sergeant from Monticello, is accused of trying to cover up the assault by falsifying reports and directing other officers to do the same.
Everly could face a maximum of 30 years in prison, and Rossy could face a maximum of 55 years.
