Two school busses ignited in flames Saturday in Yonkers.
The fire was reported shortly before noon at the Royal Coach Lines bus lot on Nepperhan Avenue.
Officials say the fire started in the engine of one bus and then spread to a second bus.
Several other buses had to be moved so that Yonkers fire crews could get to the flames.
"It was two large school buses on fire in the midst of all these other buses. They were parked right next to each other. So one bus caught fire, igniting the next one. We found heavy smoke conditions you could see for about a mile. Crews got in between all the other buses and put the fire out," said Yonkers Fire Department Battalion Chief Joseph Citrone.
Officials say there were no injuries.
A cause of the fire was not immediately known.
