Residents whose homes were flooded by the remnants of Hurricane Ida still do not have a place to live, almost two years after the storm.
Some homes in the community have yet to be built as well.
The severe storm of August 2021 caused significant flooding in the area to be declared a FEMA disaster zone.
For some, the effect continues to be felt.
Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner released a statement saying in part, "We need to evaluate why it has been almost two years since the flood damage and the victims have not gotten their lives back yet."
