A Town of Chester building inspector was arrested over the weekend for allegedly assaulting a female coworker at a political afterparty.
Village of Chester police say Alexa Burchianti was charged with assault Sunday morning just before 2 a.m.
According to a source, the two town workers were at a political fundraiser afterparty when the alleged altercation happened.
Village police said the incident remains under investigation and more charges could be pending.
The town supervisor had no comment, and News 12 hasn’t heard back from Burchianti.
