One man dead, another injured in Fordham stabbing

Upon arrival police observed a 34-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his torso and a 32-year-old man with stab wounds to his back.

A 34-year-old man is dead and a 32-year-old man is injured after being stabbed multiple times in Fordham.

Police responded to a call in front of 2466 Marion Ave. Just before 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Upon arrival police observed a 34-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his torso and a 32-year-old man with stab wounds to his back.

The 34-year-old man was transported by EMS to St Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police have now identified him as 34-year-old Luis Almanzar.

The 32-year-old man was transported to Bronx Care Health System and is expected to be OK.

There are no arrests at this time, and an investigation is ongoing.
