Police say a 46-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach on Boston Road on Sunday night.
Investigators say officers and paramedics responded to a call of a stabbing at 2123 Boston Rd. around 11 p.m. There they found the victim pierced in the stomach once. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
On Monday, neighbors were forced to walk by some of the aftermath of the violent act that included medical gloves and blood stains. One neighbor who asked to remain anonymous says she's not surprised. "It's kind of scary, but sad to say, kind of use to it."
Police sources tell News 12 they are searching for a man last seen wearing all black, who ran off in an unknown direction.
It’s unclear what led up to the violent act and what sharp object was used.
The investigation is still ongoing.
