Several injured in multi-vehicle crash in southern Orange County
Several people sent to hospital after multi-vehicle crash on Route 208 in Monroe.

A serious crash involving multiple vehicles left several people badly hurt in Orange County.
It happened shortly before 1 a.m. Monday on Route 208 and Orange and Rockland Road in Monroe.
One of the vehicles appeared to be a taxi.
At least three vehicles were involved.
EMS workers on the scene confirmed some victims were found either unconscious or with altered mental status.
At least one person had to be flown to the hospital.
State Police closed down the busy intersection for a few hours to conduct their investigation.
