Police are searching for six people who they say violently robbed a 14-year-old boy in Throggs Neck.
The group approached the boy in front of 3660 East Tremont Ave. just before 4 p.m. Monday.
Authorities say the robbers punched and kicked the boy before taking his cellphone and running away.
The boy turned down medical attention.
