Pine Knoll Florist is officially back, and owner Adriane Dianis is working to get business blooming again.

The new shop is located at 65 American Legion Way in New City, just off Route 304. The lifelong New City resident says returning to a storefront means more than simply reopening.

"I'm glad to be here because a lot of my friends are here, so it's a great opportunity for everybody to come in and see my work," Dianis says.

Dianis used to run Pine Knoll Florist in Suffern until a 2022 fire at a neighboring business on Lafayette Avenue destroyed her shop along with others in the commercial building.

She ran a temporary pop‑up flower shop in 2024 inside the Licata Insurance agency across the street from her former location.

She says business has taken a hit in recent years, as most sales shifted online, making the return to a physical storefront especially meaningful.

"It means getting out of bed and being happy because it was a tough four years," Dianis says.

This weekend, Dianis is inviting the public to celebrate her 30 years in the floral business at her new location. She describes the milestone as deeply personal.

"It means just like a new beginning, like everybody, I'm here. Come visit. I've been in this business a long time. I have four parties tomorrow alone on top of my open house. So it's a good thing," she says.

One longtime client from Suffern named Wendy praised her work while getting flowers for an upcoming party.

"Her flowers really speak for themselves and I've recommended her to people and I think it's amazing. And she's very, very easy and pleasant to work with," says Wendy

The grand opening celebration is expected to happen on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
