Another night of arrests as curfew imposed during ongoing clashes outside Newark ICE facility
Authorities say the situation remains active following another night of confrontations between protesters and law enforcement.

A heavy police presence remains outside Delaney Hall in Newark after another night of clashes between protesters and law enforcement.
By Monday morning, the area surrounding the ICE detention facility was largely cleared of protesters but still heavily secured.
State police officers are visible alongside ICE officials, guarding a barricaded perimeter around the building.
Federal, state, county and local agencies are now working together as tensions continue more than a week into ongoing demonstrations.
New video from overnight shows confrontations escalating once again outside the facility.
New Jersey Attorney General Jen Davenport says more protesters were arrested overnight.
She says some demonstrators arrived with helmets, shields and gas masks and refused to comply with a newly enforced curfew.
The City of Newark has now expanded enforcement, putting a curfew in place from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. in a half-mile radius around Delaney Hall.
Doremus Avenue has also been shut down to pedestrian traffic, with vehicle access strictly limited.
Gov. Mikie Sherrill says the focus should remain on safety and those inside the facility.
“Let me be clear, violent, chaotic clashes hurt everyone. They put the lives of both protesters and law enforcement in danger,” Sherrill said.
The governor is continuing to call on the Department of Homeland Security to improve conditions inside, ensure access to medical care and ultimately close the facility.
Protesters have been outside Delaney Hall since Memorial Day weekend, demanding those changes.
DHS continues to deny claims of poor conditions.
The governor also announced that regular visitation hours at the facility are expected to resume.
