An Arizona man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for coercing a 15-year-old minor to engage in sexual activity in Westchester County.
John Lord, 41, was sentenced Friday in federal court in White Plains, according to a federal court website.
Authorities say the incident happened in a wooded area in Katonah in 2023. When approached, Lord fled the scene and was later arrested in Putnam County.
The investigation was conducted by the FBI, Bedford police, Putnam County Sheriff's Office and the Westchester District Attorney's Office.
Lord pleaded guilty to one count of coercion and enticement.
