An Armonk teen is making a difference by collecting supplies to send to Ukraine.
With some help from his mother, 13-year-old Justin Isban started a communitywide collection drive.
He received dozens of donations, including diapers, clothes and medical supplies.
Isban says he hopes he can inspire other young people to step up and take action.
"I think I'm changing and making a huge difference in the community. I think this stuff is going to make a big difference what's to come in this war," he says.
He has partnered with "Razom for Ukraine," an organization that is shipping donated supplies out of New Jersey to Poland to be distributed on the front lines.
One plane has already taken off, and another is scheduled for Friday.
Donation drop off location:
Hip Kid Chappaqua
77 S Greeley Ave., Chappaqua, NY 10514
Items to donate: Medical supplies, blankets, ready to eat food, warm outerwear
