A suspicious package found at a salon in Yonkers on Tuesday prompted a large firefighter and police presence, authorities say.

The envelope was discovered at Miledy Beauty Salon on Palisade Avenue by the salon's owner, which contained an unknown substance.

Authorities say the salon owner fainted after opening the envelope. She was transported to the hospital on her own accord and returned to work shortly after.

Investigators determined the substance to be marijuana.

Firefighters and hazmat teams were called in to decontaminate the salon.

Authorities added the envelope did not have a return address but did not release any further information.
