Expect clouds to increase and temperatures to be slightly chillier tonight than they were Monday night.
Wednesday morning will be a colder, cloudier start.
Around lunchtime, a weak low north of the Hudson Valley may produce some spotty rain showers and even some snow showers early in the afternoon and end around 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Winds will remain a bit breezy at the end, gusting near 20 mph at times. The daytime high will be cooler, and it will only warm into the upper 40s. Wednesday night skies will clear, but the northerly winds will make temperatures feel below freezing.
Thursday, a cold start with wind chill values in the 20s to 30s. Conditions will improve by the afternoon as sunshine and another shift in winds will bring temperatures around 50 degrees. However, another hiccup is in the forecast as a weak disturbance will bring moisture to the area late Thursday night, resulting in some shower chances around midnight to pre-sunrise Friday.
Friday will be the mildest day of the week, with more sun than clouds during the day and winds having a noticeable breeze. A dry day; however, this will set up a frontal system that will impact the region come the weekend.

THURSDAY: A cold morning with wind chill values in the middle 20s to 30s. Mostly sunny, warmer in the afternoon and lighter but noticeable winds. There is a chance for scattered showers overnight. Highs are in the low 50s. Lows in the upper 30s.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny, milder with a noticeable breeze. Chance of sprinkles at night. Highs are near 60 degrees. Lows in the mid-40s.
