Bird watchers gathered at Croton Point Park Saturday for EagleFest.

The festival was hosted by Teatown. Organizers said it was the 21st year that they've held it.

It was a celebration of wildlife and conservation.

People who attended the festival had the chance to watch live shows, visit educational displays and go on bird walks.

The crowd also had an opportunity to learn more about the bald eagle.

Experts at the festival said they come to the Hudson River every year during their winter migration.

"These birds are amazing. Some of them are pretty big, some of them are small, [there's] all different types and I'm excited to see them," said Kyle Powell.
