A Dutchess County man is facing charges after a brush fire broke out on his property in Red Hook Friday night.
Police and fire crews responded to Budds Corners Road and found the fire was mostly made up of construction material and waste.
The 56-year-old property owner is now charged with illegally dumping waste and violating the state's burn ban.
The ban remains in effect until Oct. 15.
