A Florida, New York business is paying it forward by donating bikes to children of first responders.
Thomas Roome, co-owner of Back in the Game Sports Consignment, is a veteran who says giving back is priceless.
"It feels great," says Roome. "Like I just got goosebumps thinking about it. Finally, like Robbie and I are in a position to be helpful."
Co-owner Robert Jacobs says he does it so that his kids can learn a life lesson.
"That if you have enough, it's OK to give it away," says Jacobs.
The first responders say they appreciate what the store is doing.
"Normal bikes are, you know, almost $200," says volunteer firefighter Joseph Healy. "Four kids is $800. A bike for myself it adds up. And if mom wants a bike it adds up very quick."
