An Orange County Catholic school thought to be safe from closing learned its days are numbered.
Parents with children who attend St. Joseph School in Florida found out Monday the school will close in June. The school escaped being shut down by the archdiocese last April, despite facing some trouble.
A spokesperson for the New York Archdiocese told News 12 Westchester the school's enrollment has been as low as 36 students. St. Joseph's is just one of dozens of Catholic schools and churches throughout New York to close over the last year.
