Changes in Jersey City traffic flow lead to 0 traffic deaths, Jersey City officials say

Rerouting drivers who normally would cut through Jersey City to access the Holland Tunnel has apparently made the local roads much safer.

A variety of approaches as part of Jersey City's Vision Zero Infrastructure Commitments, that began in 2019, has led to zero traffic deaths on its streets, according to Jersey City officials.
Rerouting drivers who normally would cut through Jersey City to access the Holland Tunnel has apparently made the local roads much safer.
News 12 New Jersey’s Tony Caputo is in Jersey City this morning talking with officials about the traffic flow changes.
Some of the changes include right and left turn restrictions, as well as added speed bumps and a dedicated bike lane.
