Climate activists held a protest in Chappaqua on Wednesday demanding local government to act in addressing climate change.
The protesters gathered at 2nd South Greeley Avenue to push for new planet-protecting legislation just days after Sunday's storm ravaged the Hudson Valley.
"This is incredible, for Chappaqua, which is a town that is very sheltered,” said one attendee. “People don't usually care about these kinds of things. I feel like this is incredible. My heart goes out to all the amazing people who showed out today, and took time out of their day to fight for what's right"
The march was followed by speeches and performances by local leaders and advocates.
