Customers of Orange & Rockland Utilities will see a rate hike, but company officials say it is less of an increase than originally proposed.

The Public Service Commission approved annual increases averaging below 2% for the next three years.

The commission also eliminated wage increases for senior management over a two-year period.

The move is drawing criticism from state Sen. James Skoufis who called the rates hikes a "disgrace."
