Police have made another arrest after a violent riot between teenagers rocked the quiet suburb of Washingtonville.
Police say a fight began as an argument between three teenage boys outside Washingtonville High School Wednesday. The fight later escalated into a brawl involving physical violence among several girls. Police say about 20 people in total were involved and some were carrying weapons and wearing gang colors.
A 17-year-old arrested Monday is charged with felony rioting, inciting a riot and weapons possession. Twelve other teens and one adult are also facing similar charges. Police say gang violence is not a problem, however, many residents think otherwise.
