Contruction Alert: Bridge closure at Bronx River Reservation
The main pathway along Bronxville Lake at Bronx River Reservation will be closed today and tomorrow for the replacement of the pedestrian footbridge located off Pondfield Road.

2ds agoThe main pathway along Bronxville Lake at Bronx River Reservation will be closed today and tomorrow for the replacement of the pedestrian footbridge located off Pondfield Road.
County Executive George Latimer announced the project last year after Hurricane Ida.
Remnants of the storm passed through Westchester County late last year, damaging the footbridge through the process.
Specifically, the bridge's abutments, borings, and deck were washed away.
