There's a full moon and a lunar eclipse happening overnight, but the weather will try to interrupt our view.
After a clear and cool day, the clouds will build and thicken after midnight. There might just be enough breaks in the clouds to see the moon. So, fingers crossed some of this works out.
The moon will gradually darken at 1:09 a.m. It will turn red from 2:26-3:31 a.m. From 3:31 to 5:05 a.m., the moon will come out of Earth's darkest shadow and brighten. Totality lasts for just over one hour.

The weather will start to improve a bit during Friday morning and afternoon.
Expect to see a partly sunny sky.
The clouds will really thicken up Saturday.
There's a chance to see fog, drizzle and some showers. The bigger rain hits for Sunday. Late in the day, there is a risk of showers.
Gusty storms will roll through late and overnight into Monday morning.
Winds can potentially gust up to 40 or 50 mph. So, there is the potential for some minor damage.
Secure loose objects around your home now through Saturday.
