WHAT TO KNOW:
· Sun and clouds the next few days. Temperatures running slightly warmer than average
· Windy Sunday with on and off downpours. Worst weather is Sunday afternoon.
· Showers and wind taper off on Monday Afternoon.
· Nice stretch after that!
Temperatures are cooler today than the past few days, with highs generally in the mid-40s this afternoon. It's cooler than yesterday's high of 52, and a big departure from the mid-60s we saw on Monday and Tuesday, but compared to average, it's a pretty pleasant Thursday.
Total Lunar Eclipse Tonight
If we're lucky, we'll get to see the first total lunar eclipse of the year tonight. You'll see a bite out of the full moon starting just after 1 a.m. and the moon will begin to turn red and briefly disappear between 2:30 and 3:30 a.m. It's an incredible sight we have not seen in several years, but unfortunately there will be mostly cloudy skies so viewing conditions aren't perfect. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 30s.
Friday is a touch warmer, with highs in the low to mid 50s and sunny skies return in the afternoon.
The Weekend
The weekend starts off nice, so enjoy your Saturday! Sunday isn't a total washout. The best part of the day will be the morning, but rain and wind will arrive in the afternoon. Temperatures will be mild.
After our next storm moves out, sunny and mild temperatures return.
