County executive races are headlining Election Day 2025 in the Hudson Valley.
In Westchester County, Democratic incumbent Ken Jenkins is facing Republican challenger Christine Sculti in a rematch of February's special election. That contest followed George Latimer's move to Congress.
Orange County voters are deciding between Republican incumbent Steven Neuhaus, who is seeking a fourth term, and Democrat Michael Sussman, a civil rights attorney promising new leadership.
In Rockland County, Republican Ed Day is also seeking a fourth term. He's being challenged by Independent candidate Michael Parietti, a community activist from Ramapo.
Day says his record of financial growth speaks for itself and plans to improve bond ratings and eliminate debt. Parietti says he's only accepting donations from private citizens so he can act in the public's best interest.
Polls opened at 6 a.m. and voters have until 9 p.m. to cast their ballots.
