A crash involving a state trooper occurred early Sunday morning on I-95 north near New Rochelle, according to state police.

Authorities say it happened around 5 a.m. just past Exit 16.

The crash temporarily blocked the right lane.

News 12 crews saw the trooper’s vehicle being towed away from the scene.

It is unclear if anyone was injured.
