A unique way to help the struggling bee population is creating quite a buzz in Yonkers.
Two new beehives are being installed at the Cross County Center with a goal to increase the bee population.
Each colony will start with 10,000 bees and will hopefully grow to 50,000 by the peak of the season.
A naming contest for the queen bees is underway on the County Center's Instagram page.
Organizers are hoping for some "un - bee - lieveable" ideas!
