With the holidays winding down, shoppers headed to the mall today to return all those gifts that weren't exactly what they were looking for.
According to the National Retail Federation, holiday gift returns are estimated to be around $46 billion this year. Analysts say that's up four percent from last year, due to buyer's remorse. Some shoppers at the Gateway Center Mall in Mott Haven admitted they spent too much this year, and are looking to get their money back.
Retailers are advising shoppers to have the original receipt or a gift receipt with them if they are looking to return merchandise.
