The dog days of summer may be over, but that didn't stop dozens of pups from making a splash in Greenburgh.

It was the annual dog swim at the Anthony F. Veteran Park pool, one of the town's most popular programs.

The tradition began more than 15 years ago and continues to grow each year.

Organizers say people come from Ossining, Peekskill and beyond to let their dogs enjoy the water.

Next up for pups in Greenburgh is a Howl-o-ween costume party on Nov. 1.
