Soaring gas prices have left some Hudson Valley drivers with tough choices: drive less or put their cars in park.

Gas hit a nationwide average of $3.50 per gallon this week, while people in Florida, N.Y. are seeing prices as high as $3.69 for regular gasoline at some stations."Costs me quite a bit of money ? $50," says Warwick resident Lisa Cullen. "Everybody I know is feeling the crunch in a really big way."

Meanwhile, Larry Cahill, of Warwick, hops the border to New Jersey for considerably cheaper gas. One New Jersey gas station owner says about 50 percent of his business comes from Warwick.

Drivers aren't the only ones feeling the crunch at the pump. A Warwick gas station owner says he stopped accepting credit cards because more people were charging, which costs him a processing fee every time.
