Roberto Minuta now lives in Texas but used to own a shop in Newburgh.
Monday's verdict is the second major trial of those accused of trying to forcibly keep Donald Trump president.
The Oath Keepers' leader, Stewart Rhodes, was convicted just weeks ago.
There's also a trial going on right now against another militia group - the Proud Boys.
The judge hasn't set a sentencing date yet.
Minuta and others could face up to 20 years in prison just for the seditious conspiracy charge.
