Hevesi pleaded guilty Thursday in Manhattan to a felonycorruption charge.
The plea marks the culmination of a yearslong probe intokickbacks paid by money management firms that had been awardedlucrative pension fund investment contracts.
The Democrat controlled the multibillion-dollar pension funduntil his resignation in 2006 when he pleaded guilty to a felonyfor using state workers to chauffeur his wife.
