News 12's Lisa LaRocca takes us on a delightful tour of Santa's workshop at the enchanting winter wonderland of American Christmas in Mount Vernon.

Established in 1968, American Christmas has grown to become the world's largest provider of festive lighting. The company has played a pivotal role in illuminating some of the most iconic Christmas sites in the U.S., including the Rockefeller Center Channel Gardens Angels, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

This year, the company is once again inviting the public to experience the magic through an illuminated walk-through down Holiday Lane. Highlights of the visit include:

  • An enchanting walkthrough filled with magic, lights, and festive vibes.

  • The opportunity to deliver a handwritten note to Santa and meet his friendly reindeer in Stable Express.

  • A chance to make a special wish in the magical area and visit Santa's Workshop.

  • Immersion in the enchantment of sugar plum fairies and gingerbread delights in a sugary dreamscape.

  • A peek into the bustling world of Santa's trusty helpers in the Elves' Quarters as they prepare for the big night.

  • Exploration of the icy beauty of the Arctic with shimmering lights and frozen wonders.

Holiday Lane at American Christmas will be open until Dec. 22, except on Mondays and Tuesdays. Operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are priced at $10 for kids and $15 for adults for a 15-minute time slot during the week and $15/$25 on weekends. Convenient free parking is available in the front of the building.

Ticket proceeds will be donated to local nonprofits. Last year, American Christmas contributed over $81,000 to charitable causes.
