Supply chain shortages combined with larger celebrations now that many are vaccinated against COVID-19 means your Thanksgiving dinner could be the most expensive it has been in years.

Experts say packaged rolls have gone up in price because the ingredients to make them have too. Frozen turkeys cost 25 cents more a pound compared to this time last year, and canned cranberry sauce is up in price because the steel in the can is more expensive due to pandemic delays.

Caleb Silver, of Investopedia, says prices are only going to go up. Silver suggests shopping early. He also says you can replace turkey with a less expensive meat, or, if you're really tight on money - to hold a potluck instead.
