Fawn freed from fence by Larchmont police and reunited with mother

A fawn is safe after getting stuck in a fence in Larchmont on Monday morning.
Sgt. Dispenza and Officer Pedro were dispatched to a report of the young deer trapped between the bars of a wrought iron fence.
The officers were able to safely remove the fawn without causing further injury.
They reunited the animal with its mother, who had been waiting nearby in the wood line.
