FEMA surveyed damage caused by Ida in Dutchess County Friday.
This comes after growing calls by local officials for the federal government to provide relief to those affected by Ida.
In East Fishkill, a bridge on East Hook Road collapsed and washed away because of last week's storm.
While local crews are working to put a temporary bridge in its place, officials are hoping the federal government and FEMA can provide further assistance.
No decision has been made whether the county will be added to FEMA's disaster declaration.
