A firefighter was hurt battling a house fire in Suffolk County on Thursday morning.

Crews from multiple departments responded to the blaze around 10 a.m. on Woodcliff Drive in Baiting Hollow, fire officials say.

Two nearby residences were spared from heavy fire damage.
