Firefighters from NY and NJ extinguish Orange County brush fire
A large brush fire is burning in Greenwood Lake, Orange County. Several New York fire departments and at least one department from New Jersey have responded.

16m agoSix acres of hilly terrain and difficult-to-reach areas were scorched when a massive fire erupted in Greenwood Lake on Friday.
There were no reports of any injuries, but fire crews from all over the Hudson Valley and at least one New Jersey engine were called in.
The crews were able to control the fire by Friday night.
Brush fires like this are a high risk due to the weather.
