Temperatures are plunging in the wake of the coastal storm that dumped several inches of fresh snow across the Hudson Valley, leading to a flash freeze that could make for treacherous travel.
Clouds are moving out in the wake of Sunday's storm, but temperatures are crashing well below freezing overnight.

We expect lows in the teens and single digits by early Monday. Those extremely cold temperatures will bring a risk of black ice, flash freezing and slippery surfaces.
The conditions could lead to a slippery commute for Monday morning.
After a partly sunny Monday, we are tracking another potential storm Tuesday that could bring some more snow to the Hudson Valley.
