Family and friends gathered today to pay their respects to Thomas Adams, the teen who was killed at baseball practice last week.
Adams, 16, died after a ball hit him in the chest. Although officials say he was wearing a chest protector when it happened, Adams went into cardiac arrest and died about an hour later.
The teen had lived and attended high school in New Jersey, but family says most of his relatives are from the Hudson Valley.
The services were held at St. Gregory of Barbarigo Church in Garnerville.
