A 45-year-old Goshen man has pleaded guilty to predatory sexual assault against a child, according to Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler.
Authorities say Craig Merlock admitted to engaging in sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 13.
The court agreed to impose a sentence of 18 years to life in prison under the plea agreement.
Merlock will also be registered as a sex offender. His sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 14.
