Harrison High School was placed under lockdown Wednesday due to a swatting incident, according to police.

Authorities say they received a call claiming an armed individual was entering the school with the intention of harming himself.

Officers cleared the school and ended the lockdown after deeming the scene safe.

Police say the incident has similarities to past swatting calls directed at the school this year.
