This latest round of extreme heat is only here for two days, but these are two days you do not want to overexert yourself outdoors! In addition to heat advisories through tomorrow, there is reduced air quality. Those with respiratory or heart-related illnesses will be most impacted. That said, everyone should be careful in this type of heat and humidity.

On top of the heat, there is and isolated shower or thunderstorm chance through tomorrow. We do not need any more rain coming off of flooding from earlier in the week! While this will not be widespread and the severe storm chances are low, just have an umbrella with you and check the News 12 app for any updates on rain or thunderstorm chances through tomorrow.

Take breaks from the heat and drink plenty of water! A brief rain shower is possible in the morning while a scattered thunderstorm or two is possible in the afternoon, but a majority of the day will be dry. Lows near 75 degrees.

FRIDAY: TRENDING MUCH NICER! Sun and clouds. Highs around 87 degrees, but less humid! It is also looking dry now. Lows near 66 degrees.

SATURDAY: PICK OF THE WEEK — Sun and clouds. Warm with low humidity. Highs around 85 degrees. Lows near 68 degrees.
