Community members in Highbridge are worried about the beehive that they say has been around for days.
The hive was found by Nelson Playground on 166th Street and Nelson Avenue.
Residents say they have tried calling 311, but they were told to hire a private company to take care of it. They say they want it removed before someone is stung and injured.
A News 12 camera crew also spotted a second beehive just a block away outside a laundromat.
The city's Department of Park and Recreation has not commented on either situation.
