Massive trucks filled with about 3 million wreaths entered the Village of Elmsford Tuesday – the only stop they will make in New York as the convoy makes its years pilgrimage from Maine to Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
Volunteers from Wreaths Across America lay wreaths at the graves of every veteran at more than 4,000 cemeteries across the globe.
News 12’s Emily Young spoke with some volunteers about what the day means to them.
