The House Ethics Committee has declined to investigate Democratic Congressman Jamaal Bowman for pulling a fire alarm in a House office building in October.
Bowman pleaded guilty in October to a misdemeanor charge for falsely triggering a fire alarm in a house office building.
He was caught on video pulling the alarm shortly before the house was scheduled to vote on a government funding bill.
The Ethics Committee announced on Wednesday that a majority of its members did not agree to establish an investigative subcommittee over the incident.
