Metro-North’s
Hudson
Line has resumed its regular schedule this morning.
Crews have
been working to clear and repair the tracks for weeks after damage from Ida.
Th MTA says the line’s weekday service will resume to 82% of
pre-pandemic levels
The agency says crews have
continued cleanup work since record rainfall from the remnants of Hurricane Ida
more than two weeks ago damaged infrastructure along the line.
The Yonkers station in particular
saw significant damage with debris falling down on the tracks below.
The MTA says two tracks
remain out of service between Greystone and Tarrytown while restoration work
continues.
They say commuters should
give themselves about an extra 5 minutes of travel time while that work
continues.
