Hudson Valley residents are being urged, during one of the hottest weekends this summer, to take caution as the thermometer rises.
Doctors advise residents drink extra water, stay indoors and avoid excessive exertion. Doctor Anthony Leno from St. John?s Riverside Hospital says people don?t realize how quickly fluids come out of their bodies.
To help residents stay cool, park organizers at the Tibbets Brook Pool in Yonkers announced the pool will be open for an extra hour tonight.
